You can't normally move modal dialogs and they sometimes hide a window you'd like to see before you make any decisions in the dialog. DragAnyWindow is a control panel extension that allows you to easily move any kind of window, including dialogs, alerts, standard Open and Save dialogs, game windows, and other modal or non-movable windows. Version 4.0 adds solid dragging options, accepts payment via Kagi and makes other minor improvements.
